During the span of two years, SSNW administered and managed large-scale internal audit and IT projects at Plum Creek. In addition to developing IT strategy and application architecture, SSNW consultants effectively implemented company-wide financial and Sarbanes-Oxley readiness assessments for IT general controls, financial reporting and application controls. Our change management professionals trained 250+ end-users on the new Hyperion Planning and Budgeting, Lawson Financials and custom timber operating systems, providing methodology, coaching and guidance in order to ensure the overall success of the project. This complex program included benchmarking data, understanding and developing roles and responsibilities, centralizing core finance processes, and retraining key resources.
