Brijesh Anand is the Managing Principal at SSNW and has over 25 years of industry and consulting experience; most of which had previously been spent at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as an Associate Partner and at Arthur Andersen as a Consulting Partner. His commitment to quality and penchant for efficiency has helped make SSNW a success. Focusing on companies within the Pacific NW, Brij has helped build a reputation for developing and implementing business solutions and strategies that not only work, but also enable businesses to excel. Brij has successfully guided a number of companies on information technology strategy and execution, and on process and organization design for finance, procurement and IT. Lisa Stennick Return to top Lisa Stennick is a Principal at SSNW with 20 years of experience in industry and consulting. She has been at SSNW since 2003 providing finance & accounting expertise, acquisition integration, program management, change management and system implementation services to our clients. Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington and a BS in Business Administration from Portland State. Her varied career includes time spent as a Senior Consultant at Anderson LLP, a Product Marketing Manager at Sabre, a Senior Finance and Accounting Analyst at American Airlines and a Supervisory Senior at Ernst & Young LLP. In her free time, Lisa enjoys walking marathons, scuba diving, reading and wine tasting. Shilpa Karnik Return to top Shilpa Karnik is a Principal at SSNW, and has over 15 years of industry and consulting experience. Shilpa has worked with Strategic Solutions NW since its inception in 2002. Prior to joining the firm, Shilpa was a Manager at Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting group where she provided program management and change enablement expertise. One of SSNW's principals, Shilpa leads the Dynamics AX practice area. Under her leadership, the firm has successfully implemented several AX projects and has become a premier solution provider for Dynamics AX in the Pacific Northwest. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Bombay, India. When not in the office, Shilpa enjoys spending time with family, tending to her garden, and traveling. Todd Rask Return to top Todd Rask is a Principal at SSNW and provides leadership in the areas of technology services and information technology strategy. Todd has extensive experience in the implementation of enterprise systems and process expertise in procurement, inventory and preventative maintenance, as well as served as the Acting CIO at two of SSNW's clients in the forest products industry. Prior to joining SSNW, Todd was the Managing Principal of Trinity Consulting Group. Todd also was a Director at Emerald Solutions and a Manager at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he focused on delivering business integration solutions in the forest products industry. He has led large-scale custom application development initiatives. Todd has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Carly Van Aart Return to top Carly van Aart joined the SSNW team in February of 2007. As a consultant she has worked with several clients in her tenure with the company during which she has focused on trade and logistics process design, interface integration, documentation and training. She is certified in Trade & Logistics in Microsoft's Dynamics AX ERP system. Carly enjoys working together with colleagues and clients to design, develop and implement solutions that provide the client with added efficiency and value. Before becoming a team member at SSNW, Carly received a bachelor's degree from Linfield College where she competed on the school swim team and met her best friend, a Swede, whom she visits at every available opportunity. She has continued to pursue her passion for athletics and now competes in triathlons of various distances, primarily as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program. Denice has worked for numerous Fortune 100 companies as an employee and as a consultant with experience in the industries such as Oil & Gas, Food & Drug, Wood Products, Retail, Restaurant Management, and Real Estate. Denice has over 24 years of functional experience in Finance, Information Systems and Manufacturing Management covering accounting, joint venture auditing, acquisitions, mergers and divestures, project management, full application system life cycles, supply chain management including transportation imports/exports, customer service, business process improvements, and quality controls. Denice has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona in Accounting and Management Information Systems. She also has MBA credits from California Institute of Technology, Georgia Institute of Technology and Portland State University. Known as a road warrior, Denice enjoys traveling, spending time with her family & friends, baseball, and fashion/embroidery design. Eric Larsen Return to top Eric Larsen has been implementing and analyzing systems for over 17 years. An experienced business analyst and project manager, Eric has implemented multiple full-life cycle ERP systems and integration work for both custom and packaged applications. Eric is a Certified Management Accountant, Certified in Production and Inventory Management, and Certified in Integrated Resource Management. He holds a Master of Management in Accounting and Quantitative Techniques from Atkinson Graduate School of Management, Willamette University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Lewis and Clark College. When Eric is not in the office, he enjoys hiking and sailing around the Pacific Northwest. Gordon Heady Return to top Gordon Heady has been with SSNW since 2004. Gordon is the Business Development Manager for SSNW's Microsoft Dynamics AX practice; forest products demand management solution, Boardsoft; and business and technology consulting services. Coordinating and implementing sales and marketing strategy and tactics, Gordon works closely with the principals of SSNW to find and develop new business. Away from the office Gordon enjoys biking; conducts sake tastings and tours; volunteers with Mercy Corps; and spends time with his dog (not all at once). Previously Gordon alternatively worked for Bill Clinton's speechwriter; was employed by a steel foundry in Spain; and appeared as a contestant on the game show Jeopardy. Gordon has a BA in Political Science from Linfield College. JB Beazle Return to top JB Beazle has 10 years of industry and consulting experience. Before coming to SSNW, JB worked at Emerald Solutions where he specialized in Enterprise Action Integration (EAI). JB received a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Southern Oregon University and is skilled in the areas of database design and implementation. JB is also well versed in the area of development methodologies, which includes coding standards and architecture and has a strong skill set in testing methodologies, including both integrated and automated testing. Along with his development tasks, JB has strong network/domain administration skills. In addition to his time spent in the office, JB is an avid swimmer and enjoys participating in local open water swims and triathlons. During the colder months he enjoys snowboarding at many of the northwest mountain resorts. Jennifer Digby joined SSNW in June 2009. Prior to joining SSNW, Jennifer worked as a Senior Information Specialist in the HR department of Nike, Inc. During Jennifer's work at Nike, she received a solid understanding of HR practices and procedures, which included working side by side with departments like Compliance, Payroll, Benefits, and Operations. Jennifer graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Economics, and in doing so spent a lot of time analyzing data and performing regression analysis. It is with this educational background and with her work in Human Resources that she came to SSNW. She is certified in Human Resource Management in Microsoft's Dynamics AX ERP system. When Jennifer is not in the office, she likes to ski, play softball, and spend time with her son Leland. In addition, when she gets a free second to herself, Jennifer loves to volunteer for the Special Olympics or relax with a good book. John Konrad joined SSNW in 2007 as a Business Analyst. He has worked on several Dynamics AX projects specializing in Procure to Pay processes that required him to work closely with client personnel as well as outside vendors. He has performed integration work; and has designed and developed bank interfaces for AX2009 that have been deployed at several AX clients. He is certified in AX financials as well as AX development. John graduated from Willamette University in 2001 with a degree in Economics, while also completing several computer science and accounting courses. In addition to his work here at SSNW, John spends time with his wife and family. John is a die-hard Blazers fan and enjoys doing anything active, especially playing basketball. Johnny Rask Return to top Johnny Rask is a Senior Associate with over 10 years of experience that covers many phases and roles in the software/systems development lifecycle including design, development, and testing. Johnny has strong technical, business, and analytical skills with an emphasis on object oriented programming and web based application development. Johnny has experience implementing many Microsoft technologies including Microsoft's Premier ERP package Dynamics AX and Microsoft Office SharePoint. Johnny has a BA in Computer Science from the University of San Diego. In his spare time, Johnny enjoys spending time with his wife Jenny and son John Jr. He also enjoys hunting and fishing with his father and brothers. Jon Nee Return to top Jon Nee has been with SSNW since October 2003. Jon is a senior consultant and specializes in ERP implementation, finance, fixed assets, audit and Sarbanes–Oxley IT control reviews. Since joining SSNW, Jon has helped complete Sarbanes–Oxley reviews for Standard Insurance and Schnitzer Steel and implemented various ERP systems for our clients. Possessing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Jon came to SSNW from Legacy Health Systems where he was a Senior Compliance Analyst for the HIPAA IT security regulation. Jon also worked for two and a half years in Arthur Andersen's Technology Risk Consulting group. Jon is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 2002. When he isn't working, Jon enjoys bowling and playing golf in his spare time. Keoni Q.A. Adams Return to top Keoni joined Strategic Solutions NW in 2009 as a Senior Associate. He came to SSNW with over 15 years of wide ranging experience in both system implementations and internal IT infrastructure management. Keoni’s major emphasis has been in Operations and Accounting, applying his system knowledge to resolving business problems both as a Sr. Manager with Nautilus, Inc. and as a Sr. Consultant with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. Keoni has a BS with a major in both Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Idaho. Outside of work, Keoni enjoys spending time with his little girls, volunteers at his church, and competes in various local triathlon and running races. Kevin McLean has over 28 years of industry and consulting experience, which translates into a wealth of knowledge that is extensive in its breadth and depth. His expertise includes logistics and operations. Kevin also specializes in project integration, ERP implementations, process improvements and project reengineering. Prior to joining the firm, Kevin worked for JD Edwards, now part of Oracle Corporation, for 15 years in multiple roles. He was a Consultant and Methodology Specialist as well as a Product Strategy Director. He also worked for other consulting firms doing implementations, operational audits and process improvement projects. Kevin has an MBA from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Cornell University. He is a Certified Production & Inventory Manager (CPIM). When he is not working at SSNW, Kevin spends time at home and is currently in the middle of a home remodeling project as well as restoring his 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster. Nagalaxmi Karumbunathan Return to top Nagalaxmi Karumbunathan has over three years of experience as a software engineer. She has been involved with many aspects of the SDLC like requirement gathering software development and quality assurance. She has worked with C,C#, J2EE and related technologies, and with Windows and Unix OSs. She also had experience writing functional specifications, test plans and other documentation. She completed her masters in Computer science from Portland state University in Summer 2008. This provides her a strong foundation for designing and executing various solutions. Her hobbies are reading and biking, and she spends most of her free time with her family. Robert Wise has been with SSNW since June of 2008. With a background in Object Oriented programming, Robert works on the implementation and modification of various software components as well as database programming. He has a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon, as well as a certification in Microsoft Dynamics AX Development. Before joining the SSNW team, Robert worked as a technical support specialist and has well developed skills in software testing and troubleshooting. In his spare time, Rob enjoys spending time with his family and working out. Rohini Venkataramaiah Return to top Rohini Venkataramaiah has over 3 years of software development experience. Here at SSNW, her main duties include customizing and implementing Dynamics AX. She worked on an Integration application in .NET to interface Dynamics AX with other systems. Rohini also was involved in the development and building of the Boardsoft product, SSNW's proprietary product geared toward the forest industry. In addition, she has experience in the JD Edwards Enterprise One reporting tool. Rohini is currently a graduate student at Portland State University focusing on Computer Science, and has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology in Bangalore, India in Computer Science. When she's not working in the office or studying for school, Rohini spends most of her free time traveling the world exploring new places, as well as reading. Salahuddin (Sal) Faruqui Return to top Salahuddin (Sal) Faruqui has spent 20+years in various management positions with high tech, medical and accounting/consulting firms. Sal's operational expertise focuses on supply chain optimization, customer service excellence, new product introduction, lean manufacturing operations, new business development, ERP implementation and program management of challenging strategic programs. His overall goal is to identify, manage, and deliver world-class solutions for driving profitable revenue, reducing costs, and providing superior customer service while developing a focused and challenged organization. Since 1999, Sal has consulted with corporations on issues related to customer service efficiency improvements, supply chain optimization, product development, operational program implementation, and mentoring executives. Salahuddin holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University and is a member of Alpha Phi Mu, a honor society of Industrial Engineers. Thad Rask Return to top Thad Rask began working with SSNW in 2003. He has experience with business application testing and deployments. His expertise is around business process design, integration, and documentation. He is certified in both Finance and Project Accounting in Microsoft's Dynamics AX ERP system and has been working as the GL, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable lead on AX implementation projects. He has managed both process redesign and full scale testing and deployment efforts while working at Standard Insurance. Prior to SSNW, he worked in the financial sector and was the department manager in a national brokerage firm. Thad has a BS degree in Finance from Marquette University. Outside of work, he has professionally recorded 3 rock albums, plays guitar in his band, hangs out with his large extended family, and spends time with his wife and daughter. Tony Zeigler Return to top Tony Zeigler has been with SSNW since 2005. With over 15 years of experience in computer technology and software development and a BS in Computer Science from Oregon State University, Tony has honed a strong background in programming which includes many phases and roles the software/systems development lifecycle. Possessing strong technical, business and analytical skills, he has developed an emphasis on database efficiency and application maintenance. During his free-time, Tony is both taking it easy and hanging out with his friends & family, or surfing the web and trying to come up with solutions to today's issues. His main interests are in politics, science, and technology. Do not let this guy around sugar, at least if you want left-overs. Vic Herinckx Return to top Vic Herinckx is a Senior Associate with SSNW and has been with the firm since its inception in 2002. Vic comes to SSNW from Corillian Corporation where he was a Director in its professional services organization. Prior to that, he worked at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he spent nine years as a Senior Consultant. Vic specializes in procure to pay, maintenance and human resources systems implementations. Recent projects include developing a business case for outsourcing payroll, leading maintenance package implementation and project managing a large and complex Microsoft AX implementation. Vic has degrees in business and computer science from Oregon State University. In his free time, Vic enjoys coaching baseball as well as sequestering carbon on his tree farm.
